BEGINNERHAKUBA NORIKURA

The large Hakuba Alps Hotel sits directly at the base of the excellent "Hakunori Family" and "Wakaguri Forest" beginner runs. These wide and uncrowded groomed trails with fun yet forgiving slope angles are the main hot spots for those starting out on skis or snowboards. And when the legs or mind begin to tire from the learning process, the Alps Hotel is the perfect place to step inside, rest and reset before heading back out. Presently, there is no international ski school, but the local ski school usually has one or two instructors who should be able to provide lessons using basic English.
